PEX tubing and piping is made from a synthetically created plastic that uses molecules from the polyethylene of the highest density and linked together by cross-linking. 1″ PEX Tubing with Oxygen Barrier can be used for the following applications:

1. PEX tubing is now being used in residential homes across the country, as well as in commercial and industrial applications. Boiler Supply and Return Lines. Replaces copper pipes when running tubing to PEX manifold stations. Commonly used in installation of outdoor wood boilers (PEX tubing is insulated, sleeved and buried below the ground freezing level).

2. Fan coil units and air to water heat exchangers.

3. Radiant heating and snow melting for large structural slab-on grade systems (commercial).
