EMERSON company supplies more than 1,000 gas valves to extend the life of one of the world’s largest area of natural gas.
Long-term project with field Aardolie Nederlandse Maatschappij updated Groningen gas control, which is located in the Netherlands.
Field has been in production since 1950, but dropped the pressure field. This project aims to optimize production by improving the monitoring and control 300 of the gas wells.
More than 1000 Emerson’s Fisher control valves are used to help control the supply of NAM cluster of individuals to maximize the output from the field. Improved controls allow the operator to the city center to start and stop a group of individuals based on their ability to transmit gas.
According to Emerson, Fisher control valve to reduce the total cost of ownership, thanks to their performance characteristics and durability.
Advanced diagnostics provided FIELDVUE ™ digital valve controllers also allow technicians to use ValveLink AMS SNAP-ON software to easily monitor and maintain the performance of the valve.
Centralized control valves activated by the current operator can perform maintenance tasks remotely, minimizing visits to the cluster. This also applies to control valves in the field of gas compression facilities which are equipped with remote monitoring and diagnostics.
In the case of production problems that occur at night, the system can generate automatic notification that goes into the standby off-site technicians. The use of remote network access, the technician can log into the site network management, to diagnose and possibly resolve the problem remotely.
